Herbert Ansah continued his impressive goal-scoring form for Torino in the Italian Primavera1 U19 league when they hosted Inter Milan on Wednesday.
The forward netted the only goal as Torino claimed a 1-0 win at the Stadio Silvio Piola.
Ansah broke the deadlock in the 14th minute from a header after teammate Ali Dembele found the Ghanaian at the far post with a cross.
The 17-year-old has now scored in three consecutive games.
Inter introduced Enoch Owusu in the 46th minute in search of the equaliser but the Ghanaian forward failed to tilt the game in their favour.
Ansah’s goal has ensured Torino are unbeaten in the Primavera1 division with 9 points at the top of the table.
In the other Primavera1 game Salim Abubakar registered his first goal of the season for Sassuolo who managed a 3-2 win against Napoli away from home
Abubakar scored from a penalty rebound after teammate Federico Casolari failed to convert from the spot. The midfielder played 90mins.
His compatriot Justin Kumi also played a significant part for Sassuolo. The Italian-born Ghanaian made a 86 minutes outing.
