Ghana Badminton pays tribute to Ebenezer Affaidu, National Veterans Star (1963-2022), who passed away on July 9th, 2022, at the Korlebu Teaching at the age of 59. On top of his many development and event successes, we will hold the distinction of having a presence at his funeral on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Bethesda Methodist Church, Agona Swedru, Central Region-an optimum farewell for all of us, in a grandeur presence honour. Ghana Badminton will make available a Vehicle to transport its members on a registered limited number basis to attend the funeral on the registration deadline below. |

Ghana Badminton family in announcing this tragic circumstance, that, Affaidu died, leaving us the memory of an incarnation of sports essence in living, and that we are all better people with our maker having the opportunity to know him and be his friend, brother, and wise counsel.
In a note to the family, Ghana Badminton President Yeboah Evans said “we are grateful for his development leadership and the significant contributions he made to Badminton in Ghana. Ebenezer Affaidu left us a significant legacy for our Sporting & Coaching Education initiatives in the Central Region”
