Three Mozambicans now heading to Paris 2024: Gramane, Tiago in the mix

It’s cheers and champagne for Africa as two more boxers get wild cards.

Double African middleweight champion Rady Gramane and Commonwealth Games light-middleweight silver medallist Tiago Muxanga (pictured left in action) have also been allocated the universality quota.

Mozambique Boxing Federation President Gabriel Jr confirmed the two boxers are on board. They join their Mozambican compatriot, Alcinda Dos Santos for the big party in Paris.

Africa now has a total of 25 boxers with boarding passes for the Paris flight.

Other wild card beneficiaries so far are Cape Verde’s Ivanusa Moreira, Zambia’s Margret Tembo and Mali’s Fatoumata Camara.
