Mubarak Wakaso is hopeful that Ghana can win in Tamale when they face Guinea in the 2015 Nations Cup qualifiers.
The Black Stars face the Syli Nationals at the Tamale sports stadium on Wednesday hoping to beat the guests for the first time since 2008.
And Wakaso, who is still looking for his first goal since January 2013, knows the onus is on the team to make Tamale and the whole nation proud.
“We know we have to win at all cost here. The last time we played in Ghana, we drew and so we cannot afford to drop points here again. I know we will do our best to make the people of Tamale and Ghana excited,” Wakso told reporters on Tuesday.
Ghana drew the first leg in Casablanca 1-1 and will want to pick a more positive result from Tamale to stay in control of their destiny.
Ghana lead Group E with five points followed by Uganda on four and Guinea on four, while Togo could move to six if they beat the visitors on Wednesday.
