Ghana international, Caleb Ekuban will be pocketing one million euros annually at Italian top-flight league outfit Genoa, according to reports.
Ekuban is joining the Luigi Ferraris Stadium outfit on a three-year deal from Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Genoa CFC have already reached an agreement with Trabzonspor securing the services of the 27-year-old attacker in a deal worth 2.2 million euros.
the Black Stars striker will be receiving one million euros yearly should he pass the mandatory medical examination scheduled for Wednesday in Italy.
The 27-year-old will arrive in Italy on Wednesday morning to undergo medical test at Genoa before signing the deal for an official announcement.
He had an incredible campaign in the Turkish top-flight last term where he scored 10 goals in 32 game outings for Trabzonspor.
Ekuban began his career in Italy at Mantova Youth team before moving to Chievo Verona where he spent at 7 years at the youth and senior levels.
He enjoyed loan spells at FC Suditrol, FC Lumezzane, AC Renate all in Italy and also FK Partizani in Albania.
He also had stint at English Premier League side Leeds United.
Ekuban was a member of the Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations staged in Egypt.
He has been capped nine times for the senior national team of Ghana, scoring three goals.
