Ghana’s volley ball team took part in an international competition in preparation towards the Olympic Game and they beat all opposition before thrashing host Algeria 2-0, 21- 18, 22- 20.
According to the President of the Ghana Volley ball Association, Paul Atchoe, their performance has made them one of the best on the continent and they are billed for another event in may in Tunisia from May 2 to 20th and they hope to qualify for the Olympic games.
At the recent International BVB tournament teams from Algeria, Morocco, France, Mali, Niger participated and the Black Spikers were the beat beating every team.
Meanwhile, officials of the Ghana Volleyball Association say Ghana has missed out on the indoor volleyball qualifiers played in Congo and Cameroun last January.
