Great Olympics Deny Awako’s Move To Hearts

Accra Great Olympics has denied media reports that their top star Gladson Awako has signed for city rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.

General manager of Accra Great Olympics, Oluboi Commodore debunked the media reports that Awako has signed a two-year contract for city rivals Hearts of Oak.

“Hearts of Oak has not written to Olympics for the services of Awako though his contract runs down in few months.

“The player can not play for any team in Ghana unless a foreign club as his contract will expired in October,” he added.

Awako has been the talisman for his side in the just ended league season.
Hearts are seeking to strengthen their squad for the CAF Champions League later in the year.
