Hearts outcast Manaf Umar to join GPL returnees RTU on loan

Ghana champions, Accra Hearts of Oak could accept a loan offer from newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side, Real Tamale United for midfielder Manaf Umar, according to media reports.

Umar has been deemed redundant at Hearts of Oak and unlikely to play a main part in the team next season following the arrival of Gladson Awako.

The midfielder barely enjoyed game time after the arrival of Coach Samuel Boadu and now seem to have lost favor in the eyes of his manager.

The final straw in his Phobian jigsaw was after he was omitted from Hearts of Oak’s squad for the CAF Champions League campaign.

Real Tamale United have expressed interest with Hearts of Oak yet to decide on the player’s future.
