Hearts fans devise fund raising mechanism to support club

Accra Hearts of Oak SC is set to receive another massive support in the coming days as their philanthropic teaming fan base draw ever closer to the club.

The 2000 CAF Champions league winners welcomed their teaming fan base in the closing stages of the 2020/21 season led by the over GH¢50K donations to the playing body from this supporters wing.

With multiple partners on board, the supporters of the club came out with a huge package expected to rack in thousands of Ghana cedi on monthly basis as special package for player transfer and welfare.

Leadership of the Supporters group tasked the club’s teaming fanbase to electronically register into a centralized database that will serve as the main source of funding for the player motivation and other welfare related issues.

The registered club supporters, will then electronically pay monthly dues of at least GH¢10.00 into this central pool to help motivate the playing body and other hardworking technical and management team members.

A target of 100K registered supporters has seen set till the end of December 2021 before the program will be decentralized to all 16 administrative regions in Ghana.

With an average of GH¢10.00 per head, the club could be racking in GH¢1,000,000.00 on monthly basis if they are able to handle it as planned.

A healthy one million Ghana Cedi on monthly basis will most certainly help any club on Ghana soil and genuinely motivate the playing body with such awards like player of the month, goal of the month, and other accompanying packages.

The club and leadership of the supporters will meet in the coming days to streamline the activities of the latest package.
