73 Badminton players get scholarship to study abroad

Badminton Association in Ghana with the support from Badminton World Federation has secured scholarship for players, administrators and coaches of good standing in the Association.

Eighty players, coaches and administrators applied and out of the 80 who applied 73 were able to get the nod to study with Federal University of Australia through online.

The program starts next month as the Association is looking forward to the athletes, coaches and administrators upgrade themselves academically and also sporting.

The program is being sponsored and funded by the World Badminton and Federal University of Australia where Badminton is mostly played and experts in the game are based.
