Andy Ruiz won the world heavyweight title, but since then, his life has gone downhill, and now he has hit rock bottom. Julie Lemus, still the fighter’s wife, read the Calexico fighter the book, and even kicked him out of the house.
“In recent days, a story about my personal life has been circulating in various Spanish-language media outlets, which was handled in a wrong and disrespectful manner,” reads the first paragraph of a statement from Julie Lemus.
“In this regard, and in order to keep my public and the media duly informed, I clarify that at the time I decided to open my heart again, my previous relationship had already ended.”
“I want to live calmly this new stage of my life that began recently. All human beings deserve a new opportunity to find happiness and that is exactly what I am doing right now, and I thank God for that”.
Andy Ruiz will continue to take care of his children
The boxing champion made it clear that he will not leave aside his role as a father: “It is worth mentioning that I will always look for the welfare of my children and I will always respect their mothers. Thank you very much for your support and I ask for your respect in this time of life,” concluded Andy Ruiz Jr.
