Tamale half-marathon postponed to October 2

The maiden edition of the Tamale Half Marathon originally scheduled for 25 September has been postponed to next month following stakeholders meeting between the organisers and the potential sponsors at which it was concluded to move the event to a later date.

The decision was reportedly taken in order to fit the schedules of dignitaries expected to grace the occasion including Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.

Western Regional Minister, Honourable Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah kick-start the event when it finally comes off on the new scheduled date of October 2.

The route and venue still remain the same though registration is still not yet opened.
