Galaxy-TUSK to reenact ABL Finals matchup at Adenta Court opening this weekend

Galaxy Basketball Academy and TUSK Foundation are slated to face off on Saturday, December 11 to climax the opening of the refurbished Adenta Court in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

The festivities surrounding the opening of the renovated court by TUSK Foundation commence at 10:00 GMT; a series of basketball games involving various age category teams between TUSK and Galaxy are to be played to mark the occasion.

The Adenta Court and accompanying washrooms has been repainted and this weekend’s event marks the first time the court will be opened to the public for use.

The headline event is the matchup between TUSK and Galaxy in a repeat of the 2021 Accra Basketball League Men’s Division II Finals Series.

TUSK v Galaxy (blue)

TUSK beat Galaxy 56-50 and added a win over Ghana Navy to clinch the 2021 League title despite missing a couple of key players in the series.

Veteran Adenta Basketball Players and Young Adenta Basketball Players will play a friendly game too on the court.
