Ex-Ghana youth Kamal Issah signs for Ostersunds FK in Sweden, makes debut

Ex-Ghana youth international Kamal Issah has joined Swedish second-tier side Ostersunds FK on a short-term deal, according to reports.

The 29-year-old’s deal runs until the end of the season in Sweden.

Issah was available on a free transfer and trained with the team during their pre-season camp in Turkey.

He convinced the coaching staff and was handed a contract by the Superettan side.

On Tuesday, 19 April 2022, he climbed off the bench to make his debut for Ostersunds in their 1-1 draw at Trelleborgs in the league.

Issah has wealth of experience after playing for Stade Rennes, FC Nordsjaelland, Stabaek and Turkish Istanbulspor.

The former Liberty Professionals made 11 appearances for his last clu Ankara Keciorengucu during the 2020/2021 season.
