Deaflympics: Brazilian Secretary of Sports and Leisure of Caxias presents certificate to Team Ghana

The Ghana Deaf Sports Federation have been presented with a certificate of participation from the Brazilian Secretary for Sports and Leisure of Caxias Do Sul, Rio Grande. That’s where Team Ghana are now lodging.

The hospitality rate of the Brazilians towards the Ghana Team is so wonderful and amazing because they are will to do everything for Team Ghana here in Brazil. The certificate was given to the Team Leader of Ghana in the person of Mr. Jonathan Amuah. He thanked the Secretary for his kind gesture and promised him of good relationship in the future.

Team Ghana are the toast of all at the 24th Summer Deaflympics in Caxias Do Sul, Brazil and that has opened avenues for more relationships between the two countries.

Ghana is still in there as our beach volleyball team is in the quarter finals aiming to perform for Team Ghana.

Athletics is gearing up because our medal hopeful Felix was disqualified in the heats of the 100 metres by the officials for no apparent reason because the starter was faulty for 5 times. Ghana is never perturbed because there is still hope in the 200m, 400m and the 4x100m relay.

All is not lost yet because Team Ghana have been boosted with the arrival of their International Relations Officer, Michael Wuni.
