Ghanaian defender Ishaku Konda set to join Czech side Jablonec next week

Ghanaian defender Ishaku Konda is expected to join Czech side Jablonec next week.

The 23-year-old returned to Ghana in the spring after his visa expired.

Konda has completed his move to Jablonec and is expected to join the club next week.

The defender reunites with former coach David Horejš at Jablonec as the pair worked together at Ceske Budejovice.

Konda made four appearances for Ceske Budejovice in the 2021/22 season before leaving the club this summer.

It is understood that Ishaku Konda will get a long-term resident permit next week.

He is expected to sign a long term contract with the club.

The former Ghana U20 captain has had stints with SK Dynamo České Budějovice of course, Paide Linnameeskond in Estonia and Austria side, FC Junior OO.
