Ghana Volleyball Association elect George Tettey as President

George Tettey has been elected as the President of the Ghana Volleyball Association until 2027 succeeding the late Paul Achoe.

The former Interim President was elected unopposed during an elective congress held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, April 28th, 2023.

Dr. Austin Luguterah will serve as Vice President, while Edem Dotse Divine will be the Treasurer.

The new Executive Committee also includes Bawa Iddrisu, Kwadwo Fordjour, Akor Adu Sam, and Nana Yaw Boadu.

The committee’s term officially began on April 28th, 2023, following the electoral commissioner’s announcement of the votes and the swearing-in by Jeffrey Marzan Owusu, the acting Head of the Technical Department at the National Sports Authority.
